Who we are
We are a husband and wife team with a love for empowering communities and building meaningful relationships. After Cam worked in a variety of professional media roles and Hanna had her turn in a handful of social work jobs, we decided to combine our talents and passions and Up River Film Co. was created.
Up River as a company is designed to provide more than just media. We have a human-first mindset for telling our stories by empowering people, and developing meaningful connections in communities.
To us, video storytelling is the way of the future, founded on traditions of the past. Storytelling has been an important part of human culture since the beginning of the time and today is no different. We also understand there this is a growing need and gap for organizations and companies to have high-quality, story driven content to connect with their community.

The filmmaker and creative mind behind all projects, Cam combines technical skills with his passion for visual storytelling to produce impactful films and photos.
Cam has been working in the film industry for 6+ years, and prioritizes team collaboration and purposeful cinematography to create unique and exceptional media.

An experienced social worker, Hanna discovered her love for visual media from the nonprofits she served and campaigns she helped create.
Hanna uses critical thinking, creative problem solving, and her love for sharing other's stories to support community organizations and clients grow their impact and reach more folks.
